Election Day!

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday -

Today is November 5th and while we won't take much time to discuss the various measures on the ballot

today, today does represent another perfect example of how our democracy works as people have the opportunity to go to the polls and choose what they believe is best for both themselves and community.  Today I would like you to take a look at the following site:

Choose a measure that seems interesting to you and discuss the following:

1.  What is the ballot measure trying to accomplish?
2.  What is the cost to the residents in that town/city/county?
3.  What percentage of people need to vote in favor of this measure in order for it to pass?
4.  What do you think of this ballot measure?  Should it pass or fail?
